Everything you need to know

Before you book.

First time? Here's exactly how a day at Ultimate Paintball runs, what's included, what it costs and what to bring. If we've missed something, give us a call.

How the day runs.

From the car park to the last game, here's the order of events.

  • Before you
    arrive

    Book and sign your waiver

Book online and pay a $25 deposit per player. Everyone playing needs a signed waiver โ€” do it online beforehand and you'll skip the queue. Under 18s need a parent or guardian to sign.

  • 30 min
    early

    Check in and gear up

Sign in at the front counter, choose your paintball pack, and get kitted out with full camo overalls, a mask and a marker. Then it's a safety briefing with our refs before anyone steps onto a field.

  • Game
    time

    Play through the battlefields

Your group rotates through our themed fields, with a different game type on each. Refs run every game and keep the pace up between rounds.

  • Between
    games

    Top up and refuel

Run low on paint? Grab more at the counter any time. Drinks and snacks are available on site all day.

What's included, what to bring.

There are no entry fees and no gear hire fees. You only pay for paintballs.

Included for every player

  • Full camo overalls
  • Mask and head protection
  • Paintball marker and air
  • Refs running every game
  • Access to all battlefields
  • No entry fee, no field fee

Bring with you

  • Closed-in shoes โ€” sneakers or boots, no thongs or sandals
  • Long socks and clothes you don't mind getting dirty
  • Photo ID for every player aged 18 and over
  • A drink bottle, and sunscreen in summer
  • A change of clothes for the drive home
๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Want extra protection? Groin guards, gloves and bandanas are $15 each at the counter.

Paintball packs.

Your $25 deposit comes off whichever pack you choose. Most players use 800 to 1100 paintballs, which is roughly two to three hours of play.

300 paintballs $69 Prepaid online only
500 paintballs $89
800 paintballs $129 Most popular
1100 paintballs $159
1600 paintballs $199
โš ๏ธ The 300 pack is an online special. It must be booked and paid for in full before your play date and isn't sold at the park. Packs on the day start at 500 paintballs ($89). 300 paintballs lasts most players 15 to 30 minutes.

Common questions.

The things people ask us most on the phone.

Does it hurt?

You'll feel it, but it's over in a second and it's part of the fun. Overalls cover you up, and everyone gets a mask and head protection. Most people are surprised by how little it stings. If you'd like extra padding, groin guards and gloves are $15 each at the counter.

How many people do I need?

On weekends there's no minimum โ€” even a couple of players can join in and play alongside other groups. Weekday sessions need at least 10 players.

Can we have the field to ourselves?

Yes. A private session is $220 for groups of 10 or more, and it means no strangers in your games. Book it with your session rather than on the day, as it needs to be locked in in advance.

What if someone in my group pulls out?

Deposits aren't refunded for no-shows, but you're welcome to send someone in their place. If you've prepaid a 300 pack for someone who can't make it, $25 is kept and the remaining $44 is held as credit toward a future booking.

What happens if it rains?

We play rain or shine. The fields drain well and honestly, a bit of mud makes it better. Dress for the weather and bring a change of clothes.

Can people come and watch?

Yes, spectators are welcome and there's no charge. They'll need to stay in the designated safe areas and wear a mask if they come near the fields.

How old do you have to be?

Players need to be 12 or over. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign their waiver โ€” that can be done online before you arrive, and the parent doesn't have to play. Teens make up a big chunk of our weekend groups, and the refs keep every game tight.

What do I need to bring for ID?

Every player aged 18 or over needs photo ID at check-in. No photo ID means no play, so make sure everyone in your group has theirs before you leave home.
