No surprises. Here’s what every player does before, during and after their games.

Check in & waivers
Every player signs a waiver. Under 18s need a parent or guardian to sign the child waiver, and players 18+ bring photo ID. Waivers can be done online before the day.
Ages 12+ - 2
Gear up
Everyone gets a full-face thermal lens mask and camo overalls. Chest protection is provided for female players, and gloves and groin guards are available at the counter.

Compulsory briefing
Nobody steps onto a field without the rules and safety briefing, followed by an equipment check. We cover safe zones, firing distances and referee signals.

Refereed games
Trained referees run every game, enforce the rules and step in straight away if anything goes wrong. Groups are matched so players face people at a similar level.

Safe zones & breaks
Every field has marked safe zones where players rest, rehydrate with cold drinks and catch their breath. Certified first aid officers are on site all day.

Home with a story
Masks stay on until players are back in the safe zone. Then it’s gear off, photos, and a car ride home full of stories about that one epic shot.

Compulsory Briefing Before Every Game
A rules and safety briefing for every player, then an equipment check before anyone enters the field. Safe zones, firing distances and referee signals are all explained.

Experienced referees run every session. They enforce the safety rules, manage gameplay and step in immediately if something isn’t right.
On-Site First Aid & Emergency Protocols
Certified first aid officers are on site at all times. Every field has marked safe zones, with drinks, rest areas and staff support close by.

Questions from parents
What age can my child play?
All players must be 12 or older. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign the child waiver, and players 18 and over need photo ID on the day.
Does paintball hurt?
Honestly, a hit can sting, a bit like a flick, and it may leave a small bruise. Camo overalls add an extra layer, masks stay on at all times, and our minimum firing distance rule means no close-range shots. Most first-timers are surprised how quickly they forget about it once the game is on.
What protective gear is included?
Every player gets a full-face, full-ear thermal lens mask and tactical camo overalls. Chest protection is provided for female players. Gloves and groin guards are available at the counter for extra peace of mind.
Who is supervising the games?
Trained referees run every game on every field, and certified first aid officers are on site all day. Every player completes a compulsory safety briefing and equipment check before they play.
Can parents stay onsite?
Of course. You’re welcome to stay for the day. Our undercover picnic area seats up to 200 people, with no booking needed.
What if my child needs a break?
Every field has marked safe zones where players can rest and grab a cold drink. If anyone needs to sit a game out, they just let a referee know.
What should they wear?
Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes with good grip. No thongs or sandals. We provide camo overalls to go over the top.
Is Ultimate Paintball licensed?
Yes. We’re a NSW Government licensed paintball operator, permit PBVEN4953041, and we’ve been running safe, fun paintball days for over 17 years.
